There are so many great reads across the web and I wanted to share with you a few (5) of my favorite reads from this week. To stay true to my blog, running for faith, family, fitness, food and fun… I am sharing with you a link in each category! Feel free to check them out, learn something new, be inspired and enjoy!
Faith
Another great post from A Holy Experience. At the end of another hard week, how to find the approval your heart was made for … was just the post I needed to read at the end of my hard week. This is a great reminder that even though “we’ve got plans for straight As, and better hair, and a smaller jean size, and a corner office with an engraved door plate. There’s nothing wrong with an “A” or an atta-girl every now and then, but a woman can get so busy keeping up with the Joneses, that she forgets to keep step with Jesus.”
Family
Yes, those are my three superheroes in the photo above. As a boy mom x 3, I love love LOVE these 10 Things Moms of Boys Must Do by Scary Mommy. I could relate to each and every item she shared in the article.
Fitness
I LOVE this post by Andrea, from I’m Perfect Life. In this post she shares her 10+ Reasons Why I Love My Ugly Body . She is a beautiful and extremely strong woman! She has lost a lot of weight and this post is an amazingly inspirational read!! I highly encourage you to check it out.
Food
My mouth is watering every time I read over Following in my Shoes recipe creation posts. She created and shared yet another delicious looking meal, that had my husband requesting that we try to recreate her recipe! Rachel’s Simple Mesquite Smoked Brisket recipe looks delicious and tastefully simple!
Fun
As a mom to three young active boys, I love how Christine shares her FUN side as she incorporates fitness and fun with her son. Her post, Why playing freeze tag will make you a better parent (and athlete) is a great informational and FUN read!
My boys LOVE playing freeze tag… and any tag if they can convince me to get out of my chair to play with them. The fun bond this game evokes is priceless.
I hope you enjoyed a few of my favorites from this week. Have a fun, safe weekend!
