As a SweatPink Ambassador and fan of Lorna Jane Active, I am participating in the #MNBChallenge. This challenge encourages those participating to MOVE, NOURISH (fuel their bodies properly), and BELIEVE. I love this group of women and this challenge to refocus, recharge, and regroup those healthy resolutions for 2014.
Last week’s focus was NOURISH. This is the area where I struggle the most, yet I was determined to be successful. Each day had its own challenge with a unique spin.
Monday: Go Meatless ~ I enjoyed and prepared baked potato soup for my family. Yummy!
Tuesday: Take Your Lunch to Work With You ~ My work is my kids. All day every day. I take my lunch to my work with me because I am more than likely at home with the boys for lunch. This was a simple challenge on this day. The photo is of me looking back upon the mess of lunch as my oldest finishes a lesson after lunch.
Wednesday: What I Ate Wednesday ~ I don’t usually participate in this meme. But I do try to record my food/nutrition on myfitnesspal each day. I am working on finding balance with my macros. A work in progress for sure!
Thursday: Smoothie Time ~ I love my nutrient dense breakfast smoothie! Vegan Chocolate Shakeology + Starbucks Peppermint Via + Almond milk = yummy in a healthy coffee start morning!
Friday: Go Raw ~ The boys and I love eating fresh fruit and veggies. A big juicy orange was our snack for today.
This coming week’s challenge is BELIEVE. I am looking forward to this week’s challenge as it also goes well with my #lovehealthyme #WWSponsored Challenge for February!
