Happy Fitness Inspiration Friday! This weeks fitspiration is my friend, Heather.
If you name an outdoor sport, I probably enjoy it! I like to consider myself a renaissance woman of athletics (or just confused!) because I truly enjoy them all. I run, bike, swim, hike, rock climb, ski, snowshoe, practice yoga, mountaineer, etc. I spent a few months riding my bike across the United States, and more recently, have completed multiple sprint and Olympic triathlons, as well as a few half marathons. My goal for this summer is up in the air: it will either be my first half ironman or my first marathon!
I don’t know that I have one true fitness love other than being outside. I truly enjoy the feeling of getting my sweat on while enjoying the Colorado sunshine (or snow!) It makes me feel alive!
Find something you enjoy! I see a lot of people force themselves to run or bike when they don’t really enjoy it–it’s about burning calories for them. If you find something that you truly love to do, you will WANT to stay active!
