It has been quite the journey, but I am beyond excited to share with you all the details of my slow return to blogging and how I’m getting back into the groove of my health and fitness journey. So grab a cozy blanket, curl up with your favorite beverage, and let’s dive right in!
Life Got Crazy, But I’m Back
Let’s be real for a moment—life can sometimes feel like a whirlwind that sweeps us off our feet, leaving us breathless and wondering how we’ll ever find our way back. That’s exactly what happened to me. Over the past few months… okay years… my days were filled with unexpected challenges, crazy schedules, and a whole lot of running around.
Returning to work full time, the boys sports schedules and social calendars had me running… just not on the trails but rather running to/from sporting event to social celebration. Plus with the boys getting older they didn’t enjoy mom writing about their adventures as much as teenagers… as they did when they were little. And as with all things, something had to give… which unfortunately, blogging took a backseat during that wild ride.
But here’s the thing, my friend: life happens. We can’t always control the unexpected twists and turns that come our way. What we can control is how we respond to those challenges and find our way back to the things that light us up.
Rekindling My Passion
Slowly but surely, I felt that familiar spark within me, urging me to return to the world of blogging and sharing my health and fitness journey. It began with a simple desire to reconnect with you and share the ups and downs of this adventure we call life.
So here I am, ready to dust off the keyboard, spill my heart out onto the screen, and pick up where we left off. It may not be a seamless transition, and there may be a few bumps along the way, but I’m here, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Embracing the Journey, One Step at a Time
Now, let’s talk about this health and fitness journey of mine. Oh boy, it’s been a rollercoaster ride! There were weeks when I felt like Superwoman, smashing my workouts and eating all the kale in sight. And then there were weeks when even getting out of bed felt like a Herculean task. But you know what? That’s okay.
Life is all about ebbs and flows, my friend. It’s about embracing the highs and navigating the lows with grace and compassion. So that’s exactly what I’m doing—I’m embracing the journey, one step at a time.
Celebrating Every Victory, Big or Small
Here’s the thing I’ve learned along the way: it’s not about being the “best” or reaching some unattainable goal. It’s about celebrating every little victory, no matter how small. Did I lace up my sneakers and go for a run today? Victory! Did I skip the takeout and cook a nourishing meal? Victory! Did I take a moment to practice self-care and fill up my cup? Victory!
Life’s too short to beat ourselves up over little setbacks or compare ourselves to others. It’s all about progress, not perfection. So, my friend, let’s celebrate every victory together, whether it’s a new personal record or simply making the choice to prioritize our well-being.
