Happy Fitness Inspiration Friday! Is it the end of the world as we know it, or do we all feel fine? (Sorry, I had to put that little blast in there). Each week (when I am on top of the game) I feature a fitness inspiration from across the web. This week’s fitspiration is ChiRunnerGirl!
Tell me a little about yourself:
I’ve been running since I was 13 but didn’t really take it seriously until the past few years. Last year was an amazing year for me with lots of PR’s where I also developed this deep love for the sport. My favorite way to sweat is running, but I also love yoga and strength training. This year I’m working towards a few more PR’s before settling down to start a family. 2012 goals: sub 19 5k, 31:00 8k, 1:04 10 miles, 1:24 half, and sub 3:10 full marathon.
What is your fitness passion?
I love running. I feel so reckless and free while running where there are no limitations and I’m not afraid to try anything. It gives me time to think and unplug myself from the world where I fall off the map for a short period of time each day.

Never comparing yourself to others is so important. Instead I like to focus on myself and my progress and how to get where I’m headed. This helps me keep positive and appreciate my abilities and challenges in life.
