I received the Jarba Tour for sole purpose to review. All opinions are my own.
When we purchased our swagger-wagon, we bought it used. Whenever you buy something used you never know what you are going to get. In our case, the information our salesman told us about the stereo was incorrect. Silly me for not investigating further, I was just excited to purchase a new-to-me vehicle.
Our stereo did not have the UConnect (bluetooth for vehicles) so that I could talk on the phone and be hands free. The AUX port also was broken, as the previous owner had broken off the tip of their chord in the port. This resulted in two stereo functions that I was most looking forward to… not working.
When I received an opportunity to review the Jabra Tour, I eagerly accepted. I enjoyed reviewing their Jabra Sport+ Wireless a few months ago, and was familiar with their brand and quality products. I was excited to test out the Jabra Tour, the portable in-car speakerphone with a powerful 3-watt speaker for incredible lifelike sound!
Hands Free Calls with Great Sound
The Jabra tour paired to my iPhone quickly and without hiccup. Once paired, I simple slid the clip on the visor near my head (drivers side). The sound quality was clear and crisp.
With a simple press of a button I was able to say “phone command” and then Siri would beep and chime in to my command.
The Jabra Tour was excellent and highly favored when the boys and I were off exploring new-to-us locations that required using the GPS on my phone. Usually I have trouble hearing the GPS instructions over the sound of the boys, the van, traffic, and radio. With the Jabra Tour on synced via bluetooth to my phone, I never missed a turn.
We attempted to listen to some of the songs on my play list. The sound quality is great… but in order to reach the backseat of the van I would have had to turn the volume up louder than was comfortable for me (sitting directly under the speaker).
I think this would be great to use for audio books or podcasts, as the quality is great… and I wouldn’t have to have the volume quite so loud when driving. This is something I am excited about testing out this summer on our road trips!
Many states have a hands-free law when driving. The Jabra Tour allows you to drive safe while having your hands free to keep your focus on the road. You can check out more about the Jabra Tour and purchase your own HERE.

I’ve never heard of this product. Interesting option. I usually use the Wayz app on my phone or the built in GPS.

I have never heard of the Wayz app… what does it do?

It is similar to a google maps type app or iphone maps. I find it more detailed on traffic jams etc. It will even tell you if there is a speed camera ahead etc. Check it out on itunes.

I don’t have a car anymore but when I did I was lucky enough it connected to my phone by itself!
Sounds like a fab product though! …I don’t think my iPhone ever has voice commands when using the gps…or maybe its because I always have it on silent! lol
Happy safe driving 🙂

I know! Me too! 🙂 It is a lifesaver when traveling to new places so I can hear my GPS over the wild monkeys in the back seat 🙂
