God works in mysterious ways. There is no doubt about that. God’s timing is always perfect. Now there is a fact that I would like to challenge.
Sigh
A few months ago, we put our home on the market. It was a leap of faith. We sold our home a few weeks after it was on the market. Praise! We moved to town and rented a cute little house near the river trail. We enjoyed the location, the river trail, and living in town. However, while living here we encountered some resistance from our neighbor. The past few months I have been learning (still have not mastered this) to love my neighbor.
Just as the dust has settled, and there hasn’t been any other bad stuff happening at our house/neighborhood… God throws us another curve ball. A great curve ball… but definitely a curve ball!
My husband applied for and received a promotion!! 3 hours away!! In a town where we are totally unfamiliar. He starts in TWO WEEKS!!
You want to know the part that makes you know that God has a sense of humor!? I leave for Missouri to visit my family in 5 days!! FIVE DAYS!!
While I am in Missouri with my children… my husband will be here in northern California moving to our new place. Our new place, by the way, that we haven’t found, picked out, or applied for yet!!
God’s timing is perfect… it may not always be the way we would choose!
Please pray for me and my family as we endure yet another move. Please pray that the right house (or place [apartment/townhouse/condo]) will become available to us in our price range, neighborhood, and school district. Please pray for God’s perfect peace to come over us, and His loving guidance and wisdom as we go through this move. Please pray for my children, that they make new (positive) friendships. Thank you.
I must admit, I think God is super funny!! He has made me belly laugh multiple times the past few days… just knowing that I have to fully FULLY rely on Him, His timing, His plan… and to everything… HIM!
So… if you don’t see my posting here (or twitter/facebook/instagram) much… I am busy trying to help God with his plan, pack the house, entertain the littles, and you know… get ready for our next great adventure.

Sounds perfect to me — your husband gets to do all the heavy lifting! 😉 Seriously, I know how stressful moving is, but you ARE in good hands.

Rachel, you can clearly see God is on the move if you just look back at the steps you have already taken. God wants us to laugh when He shows us things up close & personal because I believe, He knew without that, we might miss seeing them! He calls us to TRUST Him and that my darlin’ is just what you & Gabe are doing. He loves that. I am confident that He already has the place picked out for you and your family. He’s heard your cries and knows the desires of your heart. Follow Him and He will lead you to the perfect place!

I meant to say, happy to be back…I’ve read your blog before but I’ve just been really lousy at blog reading and commenting lately.
