Confidence is such a powerful word. The way we perceive ourselves and our surroundings is all based on how we view the situation or ourselves. My challenge for you this week is to be confident in your God given ability. You will succeed!!
Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are – and aren’t – that you will truly succeed.
My training plan from last week:
Monday: 5 mile speed workout (warm; 2×1600 in 8:44 w/800 jogs; cool)
Tuesday: Easy 5 Mile Run (10:52) 2 mile run up & down the street while boys napped
Wednesday: Rest/XT
Thursday: Easy 8 mile long run (10:52) (9:32)
Friday: Rest/XT
Saturday: Easy 4 mile run (10:52) Rest (I caught the boys head/chest cold)
Sunday: Rest
My training plan for this week:
My plan for this week will more than likely not happen as I have a pretty bad chest/head cold – snots & cough. I am going to focus on hydration, nutrition and rest… so that when I am feeling 100% well I can return to rocking my training runs!
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: 9 mile long run (more than likely not going to happen)
Wednesday: Rest/XT (NTC strength circuit)
Thursday: 4 mile easy (10:52)
Friday: Rest/XT (NTC strength circuit)
Saturday: 5 mile tempo (1 mile warm; 3 mile @9:16, 1 mile cool)
Sunday: Rest/XT (NTC strenth circuit)
