Motivation & Accountability

by Rachel on September 28, 2010

Motivate: To provide with an incentive; move to ACTION

Motivation: The act or progress of motivating; The state of being motivated; Something that motivates: incentive

Accountability: Liable to being called to account; Responsibility to someone or for some activity

Pete Cohen talked about motivation.  He discussed the different types of motivation and prompted us to seek out what truly motivates US!

What is in it for me?  I need more of what I NEED and less of what I WANT.

  1. Motivated away from something?
  2. Motivated toward something?
  3. Motivated by what you are doing?

LOL Thank you, Amanda! :) It was 102* outside when I shot the video… Tristen was on the trampoline, Calvin was behind me, and Peyton was napping when I shot the video… I just wanted to get it D.O.N.E. without too much trouble. :P LOL

I’m glad you posted this!! I just decided I will be joining everyone in the MILI and post my scale pics for accountability because of this post. I wont be participating in the actual challenge but, I’ll pretend I am ;) I lost the most weight I have ever lost with this challenge and, I think I need it again!
