Happy Monday! Where has summer gone!? It is the last week in July already! School starts in a few short weeks! The boys start their fall-ball practices this week. Time to crunch in as much family fun time as possible… while fitting in fitness together.
Last weekend we enjoyed some much needed family time in Branson with my side of the family. We swam, ate, played miniature golf, ate, laughed, ate, played games, ate, sweat, ate, and more! We had a great time making memories and are looking forward to doing it again (longer) in a few weeks.
After a few days off track, I am looking forward to schedule, routine, and getting back on track with my nutrition and fitness. Funny how a few days of not tracking nutrition or working out, I awake recharged and focused. Ready to take on the week with a new passion and desire! Bring on the new week!
Running outdoors is tricky this week. We are expecting another super hot week with high humidity. The boys have swim lessons in the morning (when it is cooler). So if I were to run, I would have to have the boys ride their bikes in temperatures in the high 90’s. So… I am going to try to focus on indoor workouts again for me this week.
Fitness plan for this week:
Monday: Dirty30 + soccer
Tuesday: Total Body Fix + WOF (walking)
Wednesday: Upper Body Fix + track workout
Thursday: Lower Body Fix + soccer
Friday: run? (fingers crossed)
Saturday: run? (fingers crossed)
I had my macros tweaked late last week due to my less than stellar workout week and stall in my results. Nutrition this week is a bit more tight and structured compared to last week. I need to be very careful with my calories as it is lower than I had been used to the past few weeks. You can follow my food diary on myfitnesspal if you friend me. Please pay no attention to this past weekend’s eats. Ha!
Time to get my day started: coffee, Jesus, sweat, and on with the rest of the day!

This summer just flew by…. and it makes me very, very sad! My son gets married next May, and I know it will be strange not to have him home for a whole summer ever again. Sigh!
