I am a mom to three always-hungry boys. I am always amazed at how much they can eat throughout the day! When it comes to planning dinner and my meals, I try to be creative with my meal planning. However, as most mom’s can attest… not every dinner is kid-friendly or kid-approved. I have had my share of dinner fails with the kiddos.
One meal that is always enjoyed is BRINNER (breakfast for dinner). The boys (and my husband) always gobble up breakfast… for dinner.
I know you don’t regularly visit my blog to read recipes and crafts, but rather more family minded fitness and health topics and information. Today I am sharing with you a new-family-favorite recipe!
As a woman (and mom) who is on the hunt to add more protein to my meals… I have enjoyed the challenge and experimentation of adding protein powder to some of our family’s favorite dishes.
Last week I decided to make pancakes for dinner. I simply added one small thing to my pancakes: Vanilla Premier Protein Powder! YUM!
Are you ready for how simple it is to add 30 grams of protein to your pancakes!? Simply add one scoop Premier Protein Powder Vanilla to your favorite pancake recipe! Boom! Done. Super fluffy with a hint of vanilla. My boys and I were big fans… and I see that this is going to be a new family favorite way to eat our pancakes!
Premier Protein is the maker of great tasting ready-to-drink shakes and protein bars. The vanilla protein powder (that I have and use) comes in a 3lb tub and provides a full 30 grams of protein per scoop with 180 calories and 2 grams of sugar.
It is offered in both Chocolate and Vanilla and contains no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. It is gluten-free! It’s tasty to drink as a shake or an easy way to add a little extra protein to your baked goods, smoothies and more!
Do you strive to get more protein in your diet? Are you interested in trying Premier Protein to add to your daily routine? Now you can, simply enter my giveaway below for your chance to win a Premier Protein Whey Powder tub!

I really need to make protein pancakes more often! I struggle to get in enough protein daily but also don’t feel like cooking in the morning before work. Do you think this is something you can prep ahead of time and reheat? or will it taste weird?
Kerri McGrail says
Wow those are absolutely the fluffiest protein pancakes I have ever seen!!! I have not tried premier protein, but it will be going on my list of new things to try! I make sure to get my protein by making sure I have at least 20-30 grams at each meal & trying to incorporate it into my snacks as well!

I get my protein from low fat dairy like cottage cheese and greek yogurt, feta cheese, protein powders, lean white meat, fish, and beans. Love my protein!
