Happy handstand Friday! Two years ago I challenged myself and YOU to do a handstand every Friday and photo document your handstand journey. For some reason I dropped the ball on my #handstandFriday challenge last year. No more excuses. Time to get back upside down and have fun challenging ourselves with handstands!
My first handstand of 2015 was taken post workout. My shoulders were shredded and I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to support my body upside down. I did, but not very long. Thank goodness for snap photography. My handstand skills are out of shape.
I look forward to challenging myself with different handstand poses, holds, walking, and even attempting a handstand push-up or two.
I would love for you to join me each Friday by hanging out upside down by doing a handstand. Feel free to tag me on facebook, instagram, or twitter using the hashtag #HandstandFriday.

How awesome! I don’t think I have been able to do a handstand since highschool. lol.

I felt the same way a few years ago, when I started this challenge. I was curious and tried it… amazed that I still had ‘some’ ability left. 🙂 Now I challenge myself each week.

I think the last time I did a handstand was over 20 years ago. I am starting a work out regime next Wednesday, so maybe I can do this again someday.
Rachel says
Yay! When you do, please let me know!

I have never been able to do a proper handstand, not when I was young and in shape and undoubtedly not now. Best of luck!

I should totally do this. I’ve wanted to work on my handstands but keep forgetting to do it. 😀

I actually put a picture of a woman doing a handstand and it made me think of you! I’m ready!

I hit send before I was done, I meant “I put a picture of a woman doing a handstand on my vision board”. 🙂
Rachel says
Awesome! Yes!! 🙂

Cool challenge indeed! I used to be able to do them years ago. Not sure I could anymore.
