Happy first Monday of the new year! I can totally tell that my nutrition has been slacking the past few weeks, as I have been bitten by a wicked head/chest cold. I am combatting it by drinking gallons (not really but I sure feel like I am swimming) of water and taking control of my nutrition.
My weekly dose of inspiration and motivation for you (and me) this week is to share with others your goals for living a healthy and active life. What is your goal? Lose weight? Run more? Start running? Run faster? Run further? Lift more?
Whatever your goal is, I encourage you to share with someone you trust. Be accountability partners with each other to help motivate and push you on towards your goal. Making a plan and sticking with that plan of accountability will help you be successful.
Accountability is key. You will only hold yourself accountable for goals that others know about. Tell someone what you are up to.
This week, my main goal is to get healthy. I have a goal to drink lots of water, drink my shakeology each day, and start my p90x3 program. I will continue running when my chest clears up and am no longer wheezing. Again, my ultimate goal is health.

I have a coworker who has agreed to be my accountability partner as I prepare for my first 5K. It’s great because I see her everyday, she’s also a mom and is a runner.

I love this quote, great one Rachel 🙂 My hubby is my biggest supporter and really helps me along when I seem to want to cry and whine, he helps kick me in the bootie and get going 🙂
