As a mom, I have learned that my actions speak much louder than my words. I need to lead by example. Because more often than not my words get lost in translation (Mommy’s language doesn’t translate well into whinese).
While finishing up my strength circuit yesterday, I noticed three little dudes watching me intently. Asking about the move I was doing: planks. And why it was important that I do them. Then moments later they each were on the ground next to me challenging who could hold the plank the longest. I won. Today.
Planks are always hard. Doing them solo… or even with little ones watching (and photo bombing your workout photo).
The important thing is to keep pushing yourself because you never know who you are inspiring to push themselves to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Your children. Your neighbor. Your family. Your friends. You can do it!

I think it’s awesome when something turns into a teaching moment. You helped someone learn something important and that’s too cool.
Love your kids photobomb – too adorable!
