Happy handstand Friday! Each week this year, I have challenged myself and YOU to do a handstand each Friday. It is my hope that you have gained strength, confidence, balance, coordination and flexibility over these past few weeks.
Can you believe we have been hanging out upside down each Friday for half of 2013!? Pure awesomeness! I hope and pray that you have enjoyed doing your handstands as much as I have! I have noticed my strength and balance drastically improve as each week passes!
I am able to hold each position longer and stronger. I am even challenged to twist into funky positions as seen above! Fun stuff!
My handstand photos were taken around mile 6 of my 7 mile run yesterday morning. Nothing like dodging extreme bikers on a trail while holding a handstand. Good times. Good memories. Funny looks. Lots of giggles.

I just set a goal to get better at handstands. I’ve been trying to do them a little bit each day. I posted on my facebook page (and linked on yours) a picture of my latest handstand 🙂 I definitely want to get to the point that I can do cool twists and positions with it. Your first pic looks awesome!
