I have seen many fabulous health and fitness bloggers share what they ate each Wednesday. I have even read a few fashionable bloggers share what they wear. Well, I am neither a foodie nor a fashion blogger. I am a mom who is in to fitness. I love to eat food, and I obviously wear clothes. But fashionista and foodie are two words that do not describe me.
I am lucky if my outfit actually matches… or is purchased from this decade. Regarding food, most of the time if I ever have the desire to take a photo of my food… I remember that fact as I look down upon my completely clean plate. Yum.
Keep that in mind, I have shared with you a few times my desire to look good while working out. Sharing great fitness clothing, attire, and fit gear. But in all honesty, when I get up in the morning to begin the rat race of wrangling three little monkeys… sometimes I am left grabbing whatever is at the top of the heap pile drawer.
This morning was no exception. I am having one of those weeks where bigger is better. I opted for my go to comfortable sweat pants. Ya know, the ones that were comfortable when I was 10 months pregnant. Yup those.
I didn’t realize how big and baggy they were until I got to the gym and looked in the mirror. I not only looked frumpy (like I felt) but I actually LOOKED bigger than I was. All because of my super comfy sweat pants.
I posted the photo on instagram, and two of my girlfriends said I needed to invest in some hot pants. Just curious what are those!? Will those pants make my rear look smokin’ hawt!? Because if so, this mama SO wants to get on that wagon!
Big baggy pants, saggy pants, tight pants, hot pants… whatever kind of pants that is worn… comfort is key.
I was (and still am) very comfortable wearing my big baggy sweatpants.
I was able to complete an easy workout at the gym this morning. I rode 10 miles on a stationary bike (while reading my devotional study book, Calm My Anxious Heart). Afterwards I completed a quick 30 minute NTC get strong – Full Action – workout. Then just for fun, I did a few handstands and let my 4 year old snap a pic in preparation for handstand Friday! Woot #GetAfterIt !
So there you have it, folks! This is what I wore Wednesday! Even thought it might not have been pretty… I still got my workout in. Mama needs new gym clothes… or at least make sure her coffee has kicked in before dressing for the gym!

Target has great gym clothes. I wear a lot of stuff from there. I usually wear capri pants or Addias running shorts. I also love my running tanks. I like a bunch of different brands but mostly I go with what is affordable yet makes me feel good and confident.

Thanks. I have a few from Target. I guess I just need a few more… to last between laundry days. 😉

For at-home workouts, I usually wear my Old Navy active stuff. It’s sooo comfy. For runs, I wear my Brooks, Saucony or Adidas capris and shirts.

I love Target because their workout clothes are cute and affordable. I really love Nike but they can get expensive. Under Armour is pretty awesome but a little pricey too.Did I mention I love Target? They really are my favorite. Lol! 🙂

While I have no clue as to what a woman should wear to the gym, I will say that I am a huge Under Armor fan. I’m actually writing this comment right before going on my evening run and while wearing a UA t-shirt, shorts, underwear, socks, and my gloves and cap are all UA. Um, actually I’m just now realizing that I might have an addiction. 🙂

I don’t have too many clothes purchased within the last decade either…so not a priority! I can’t stand to workout in sweats though…must have shorts,
