What is your workout style? A few weeks ago, I asked you if you were a loner or a groupie when it comes to your fitness. Do you prefer to workout alone or with a group of people?
Today I want to challenge you by asking what is your workout style. When you workout, are you focused on your workout so much that you don’t care what you look like or who sees you? Or are you more concerned about the social scene of your gym and your physical appearance?
I ask because I am BOTH. I have completed my workout both ways.
There are some days when I feel like a beast in the gym. I feel strong. I am dedicated. I am committed. I am focused. I don’t care who sees me, smells me, or how I look. I am focused on conquering the specific workout I have planned.
Then there are days when I am not in the mood to sweat, and am more concerned with my facebook feed or what is going on down stairs below me. I get my heart rate up to a measly 140 bpm but barely break a sweat.
Yet, I am one of the first to cast judgments on those who come to the gym in full blown makeup, hair perfect, and workout in JEANS or STREET CLOTHES. Gasp (personal fitness pet peeve of mine). That isn’t fair of me… maybe that is their fitness personality and workout style.
I got the biggest giggle from this video I want to share with you. It asks the question, what if boys and girls changed places in the gym? Have you ever SEEN or HEARD these conversations? Perhaps one of these scenarios have been YOU? I know I laughed out loud because many of them I can personally relate!

This is too funny! I heard a trainer getting asked out to dinner at my gym yesterday morning.

Hahahaha omg the video is GREAT. So funny, I didn’t realize how different women really do things in the gym and overall. So true! I’m posting this on my FB page, hope you don’t mind 🙂
