Happy fitness inspiration Friday!  Welcome to another week where I share and introduce you to a fitness inspiration of mine.  This week’s fitspiration is Michelle from Michelle Myers Online..

I have an interesting journey in fitness. In college, I struggled with a four-year battle with anorexia and compulsive over-exercise. During recovery, I never thought I would be able to work in fitness again. If you think about it, it’s like an alcoholic working as a bartender. But I am proud to say that I am healthier today than I ever have been. I’ve run marathons and half marathons. I teach fitness classes, and I coach clients all over the country. Personally, I’ve recently lost 35 lbs after having my son, Noah. I did it the old fashioned way – exercise and eating nutritious food.

I LOVE Turbo Kickboxing. It’s my soulmate workout. Think about a kickboxing workout with a dance party twist and some plyometrics thrown in. It gets me fired up every time.

One of my favorite fitness tips…When you have one of those days where you just don’t want to work out, commit to 5 minutes. Then, after you’ve worked out for 5 minutes, if you still want to quit, you can. But most of the time, I doubt you will. Once you start, you usually remember how good working out makes you feel.
