FitSpiration Friday!!

Happy FitSpiration Friday!  This weeks featured fitness inspiration is not ONE but TWO inspiration women in the fitness industry.  I am super excited to introduce you to Lori and Michelle, the Pure2Raw Twins.

Fitspirationfriday

We are twin sisters who blog over at pure2raw.com. When we first starting blogging we were running a lot. We were training for our second marathon, plus did a few more half marathons, but then this past January 2011. We ran our last half marathon in Disney. Our love of running stopped and we wanted to try new things. Currently we love working out at home doing mostly high intensity interval workouts. We do try to incorporate other activities like yoga.

Our fitness love would be HIIT workouts. We love the short intense, to the point workouts. They challenge us both physical and mentally. Pushing ourselves every time.

Our tips to staying motivated – Pick one new activity and just focus on that. Maybe it is doing a push-up. For one week do one or as many as you can push-ups after your regular workout. Finding consistency in your workouts will make it easier and you will start to see improvements. Make sure you are doing this that YOU love to do, not because some else is doing it. Not everyone is made to run. Not everyone likes to swim. So staying happy with your workout of choice, but remember adding in something new and different can be fun too! Also nice to challenge yourself everyday.

How inspirational! I want to try HIIT workouts; I need to learn more and add it to my training! My first half-marathon is about 10 weeks away!!!

Hi Rachael, glad to have found your blog. It’s Susan here from 5 Minutes for Mom. I definitely need more inspiration to get more fit.
And, how fun to see another pair of twin bloggers… there are a few of us out there.
