I have been spending less time online (blogging, social media outlets) and more time plugged into what is important to me, my family. I have been keeping very busy chasing, entertaining, and loving on my three little boys. We have been busy making memories, giggling, laughing, and learning.
There are a lot of exciting things planned for the future of Running Rachel. But I do not want to get distracted by the social media expectations to overshadow the super exciting things that are happening right under my nose in my own home. My children are growing up. Fast!
They need Mommy. They need me. I need them. I have been busy enjoying this unplugged time from social media while plugging into the hearts of my children.
Honestly, I have enjoyed not being tied down to the computer. The behavior issues are less, smiles and giggles are abundant… and we all are much happier. Choosing to put my focus where my priorities are have never been more fun and enjoyable.

I think you are absolutely right in that it’s so important to unplug and remember to actually live our lives. It’s incredible how quickly kids grow up and how easy it is to miss the little things. Your boys are adorable!!

I love that you are active with your kids. Teaching them that we don’t have to be tied down to media, whether that is tv, computers, smart-phones, is a lesson that will benefit them when they are older. Way to run your crew running rachel!

Same here. These kiddos won’t be young forever. (and same on less behaviors too). You’re doing a great job, mama!
