I love reading and finding new books and devotions to help me grow in my faith. I was excited to see that Tyndale House Publishers was offering book reviewers the chance to review Tony Dungy’s The One Year Uncommon Life Daily Challenge, I knew that I wanted to be apart of this virtual book tour and to also accept this worthy challenge for 2012.
More importantly, I really wanted my husband to read this book (with me) and accept this year long challenge together.
My husband and I have found the devotions very easy to read (they are only one page long), and take only a few minutes a day to read. Of course, you are always given the option to dig deeper on your own.
The daily devotional focuses on seven themes: with each theme repeating every seven days: core, family, friends, potential, mission, influence and faith. The goal is to challenge your heart, not just to read and set aside.
Strengthen the core of your life and faith on a year-long journey with beloved Super Bowl–winning former head coach Tony Dungy! The One Year Uncommon Life Daily Challenge contains 365 reflections from the #1 New York Times bestselling author on living an “uncommon life” of integrity, honoring your family and friends, creating a life of real significance and impact, and walking with the Lord. This year, step up to the challenge—and dare to be uncommon every day.
Are you ready to start the New Year with a challenge to live an “uncommon life?” Join Coach Tony Dungy (and me, my husband and many others) on this year long journey with this daily devotional that will help you create a life that is more fulfilling and inspiring.
So are you ready to accept this challenge?
