Happy Friday and welcome back to another ‘Fess Up Friday: Keepin’ it Real!
I hope you all had a great week. Life here has been crazy busy and I have a lot of confessing to do… I would love if you would link up below and play along!
I ‘fess up that I haven’t been hydrating properly lately. Knowing that I need to drink lots of water because of the warmer temperatures, nursing a thirsty 18 month old, and adding running in the heat to the mix. I am chugging water as I type.
I ‘fess up that my cleaning strategy as of late is not one for the record books. Picking up while my three small children are home (Thank you summer vacation!) is like shoveling your driveway during a blizzard! Pointless!
I ‘fess up that when I am vacuuming/sweeping the living area(s) with my Swifter Vacuum, I have stepped on cereal and larger crumbs to make it easier to sweep/suck up in the vacuum.
I am pretty sure that I have washed, dried and folded the same 4 sets of shirts over and over again. When I am on a de-clutter mission, I see items on the floor and I put them in their proper place. When I see those clothes STILL on the floor – it is easier to just toss in the hamper rather than to sniff, refold, and put away.
I ‘fess up that I LOVE and look forward to 8:00PM. The house is quiet. The small children are sleeping. The house is relatively clean. This Mama loves bedtime!
How was your week? Would you like to play along and share anything you would like to ‘Fess Up and Keepin’ It Real?

We’re having our the bedrooms painted and our house feels like a campsite. A very primitive one. Cleaning house just doesn’t seem worth it anymore.

Hugs – kids will remember the time we’ve spent with them and how we made them feel – not how clean the house is. Thanks for sharing with us!

Uh LOVE that you step on the cereal first – BRILLIANT!
I never drink “‘enough” water, so that is hardly a confession for me LOL
I was commenting on Janice that I too have been SLOPPY (a total slob) lately. BUT I did make my bed this morning – so I’m counting it!
OK – now for my confession – I did not use a kitchen knife all week.
PS I LOVE this! May I do one too and link back to you? Oh pleeeeeeeeez!

I love this concept.
Let;s see. I’ll ‘fess up to not being sad about the lack of miles I’ve put in this week. I was supposed to run Wed & Thurs but swam laps for just under an hour one day and did a spin class the other. Feel good and it’s so hot out.
Also, I love bedtime. When I lay down with my son, I end up falling asleep with him.

I love this idea! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with stepping on the big stuff before vacuuming it, although if you reach down to pick it up you get to count it as crunches. 🙂

Awesome confession, Rachel! I am also guilty of crushing the larger crumbs to make it easier to clean them up!
