I am LOVING the virtual races that have been going on around the blogosphere! These virtual races and challenges have challenged, motivated and inspired me to run faster, further, and more often! I love it! PLUS there is no registration fee to run these races… and some have perks of prizes when you complete these races! Double Woot!
This month, I participated in the #JoggerMom Marathon challenge. She challenged her readers to run a marathon (26.2 miles) during the month of May. You did not have to run the entire distance in one run… and could break it up all month. The important part of this race was to get out there and run!

I had a great time challenging myself to get in my runs, distance, and make good times on all my runs. I would love to run a real marathon with a final time of 3:54:11… perhaps this virtual race is now my starting ground by giving me that taste & goal! Who knows what racing goals is in Running Rachel’s future! A marathon? Perhaps!
