Hello fellow Fitness Friends. Happy Monday! This week I wanted to focus on three ‘S’ words: Strength, Sharing, and Shout outs.
Strength: I completed Week 2 of the many strength challenges I am doing. I completed the 100 Push-Ups, 200 Squats, 200 Sit-Ups, and 300 Lunges for the second week in a row.
I am feeling stronger and more toned with those circuit BODY WEIGHT exercises.
Sharing: I find that when I share my successes and struggles with someone (real or online) I gain insight and knowledge. When I shared some of my frustrations with the scale and other personal issues with a friend… I gained a deeper insight into the real issue instead of the surface issue.
It is very important to lean on and share your successes and struggles with those you trust if you want to be successful on this journey.
I share with you my scale picture each week to hold myself accountable with my weight loss goals, as well as SHARE my journey (the ups and downs)
I am down 0.6lbs from last weeks (lowest) weigh-in number.
Who in your world deserves a “shout out” this week for pushing you to better yourself? What did they do?
First and foremost, I would like to offer a shout out to my husband for giving me the opportunity to better myself. When he is not working, he watches the boys and gives me the opportunity to run by myself. I know that he loves me no matter what the number on the scale says, the size of my clothes, or how many days have passed between my last shower. Thank you God for my great husband!
I would like to thank a few special online friends for holding me accountable, motivating me, while encouraging me to continue on this journey and to do my best.
Stop the negative self-talk, choose to see the successes in your life, share your successes and struggles and make sure shout out and thank your friends for their support.

Congrats on the Strength Challenge. It’s great to have a good support system, especially the husband. I need to work on the negative talk too. It’s not all the time, but I do sometimes and that;s not helping anyone.

That’s great! Keep up the great work and I totally hear you on talking to others about both the ups and downs. I think that is what keeps me going. Knowing I can share both the struggle and the achievements and along the way I’ve learned a lot about myself. Looking forward to reading your post next week.
