My blogging friend, Run with Jess, put on a virtual 5K/10K race to be run this week in celebration of JELLY BEANS (I mean Easter)!
I loved having the challenge and motivation to get out to run for this race.
I signed up to run a 5K (3.1 miles). I have a familiar route I run that is that distance, and knew that I would be able to fit running a 5K in this week. Life has been crazy busy… but not so busy that I don’t fit in a little me time by running.
I ran my Jelly Bean Virtual 5K race in 27:15. It was not my personal best but I had great FUN time running for the jelly beans!!
I have really enjoyed participating in these virtual races the past few weeks, and plan on participating in more to come. These virtual races are great ways to help keep me motivated with my running goals and are FREE!!
Thank you Jess for hosting such a fun virtual race!
