I have been following the p90x program from beachbody. This past week was my fourth week. It is a scheduled recovery week.
It just so happens that this recovery week was a week that my body (and my family) needed to slow things down. We all got sidelined by some virus, cold, bug, something.
My scheduled workouts did not happen.
My nutrition was better but not according to plan. (Meaning, I ate whatever didn’t make my stomach churn). On a good note, there was less junk that was eaten! 😛 I am still recovering – as food does not sound good at all. Yet, I can eat it no problem. :shrug: Taking it one day at a time.
I am undecided whether I should re-do this week’s scheduled workouts… or push through to week 5. At this point, I am not sure as I am still recovering from whatever it is that visited our home so graciously last week.
The only fitness logged from last week was a 4 mile power walk on Monday. I pushed P&C in the double jogger while packing T in the ERGO.
The sun is shining, windows are open, and it looks like this week will be more productive than the last. No matter what life brings… I will be BRINGing It! this week! Have a great week!

Your wk 4 sounds like what my wk 3 was. I repeated wk 3 and I think repeating wk4 for you would allow your body some rest to make sure you are ready to bring it next wk. Just a thought. Hope you have a better week!

Redo the week so it is a recovery week from illness. No need to go hard and relapse. Just my opinion though. Glad you are feeling better.

It seems like a lot of bugs are going around. I think it’s fine to move on with week 5 since your body had a chance to recover. I’m a week behind and enjoying recovery week this week.

Yuck. So sorry that some bug decided to invade your house. No fun at all. My problem with recovering from sickness is eating enough to fuel my body. Take care of yourself!

The germs are everywhere! We got hit mid way through recovery week and into what should be week 5. I also had to slow down and recover from the germs. Hoping to be back and better than ever by next week! Booya!
