The hip, fun, zany, happenin’ way to meet and greet your fellow bloggers… it is Five Question Friday time!!!
Rules for my friends: Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, grab the MckLinky code, and link up! I would love ya, if you’d link back to me, Mama M.!
No blog? Feel free to leave your answers in the comments of any blog along the way…or, better yet…start a blog and link up!
Okay…let’s get this party started!!
1. Would you ever vacation alone?
I think at this point in my life – wife and mother – I don’t see myself ever having the desire to travel alone. Now, if the question were… to travel without children WITH SPOUSE… or without spouse (but with friends)… YES! 🙂
I guess I am not that much of a loner to vacation alone… but in that same thought… time alone and by myself would be nice about now! 😀
2. Do you go the speed limit?
Well, I don’t speed excessively… I do have precious cargo in my car. I would say I average about 5 miles over the speed limit. Is that considered speeding?
The last I checked… that is still a reasonable speed according to the speeding ticket slip. 😀
3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs?
I began blogging back in 2005 here. But changed over to blogspot recently because I liked the format much better.
I started blogging/following blogs as a means to communicate with friends and family who were back home (far away). I also used it as a means to vent and ramble my thoughts and feelings about my day, pregnancy, lonliness, devotions, etc…
I have found that since having children (more rather – since adding baby #3 to the already crazy mix) finding time to sit and blog/journal has become harder and few and far between. Bummer.
4. Where do you shop for yourself?
I love Target. I love Kohls. But shopping for myself that is a tough question. I shop for our family… and on occasion if I see something I like, I will purchase it there. Which sadly, is usually WalMart (One would think I should invest stock in that store – at the amount of money I spend there a month).
5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding…or…what song would you like your first dance to be to?
Our first song was, At Last by Etta James. Great song!!
I wanted to have our first song as something goofy – totally mine and G’s personality. But my parents boo-hoo’d that idea. Ah well, we did the traditional first song that noone pays attention to. 🙂
